Naked Edge Films (NEF) supports entrepreneurial documentary filmmakers through capital investment and co-production. Our films are story-led, not issue-led, and are boldly told, globally relevant, and have strong potential for critical and commercial success. To that end, NEF works with filmmakers:
- To make the best possible film, by offering assistance on all creative and business aspects of development, production and post-production
- To provide critical funding and to assist in the raising of additional funding — including equity, loans, grants and pre-sales — to ensure that the film is properly capitalized
- To market and promote their film, including the development and execution of a festival and release strategy, online presence, and public relations campaigns
- To distribute their film, by developing and executing a worldwide sales strategy, including television, theatrical, digital, non-theatrical and ancillary rights
We invest at any stage of a film’s production — from concept to release — and we consider films year-round.
